Susan & I always like to go and explore new paths in the Mui Wo area. You would think, after more than a year, we’d been everywhere. Not! Apparently there is a whole section to be discovered: Butterfly Hill. This hill lies in the middle of the Mui Wo valley and is basically covered with jungle. But there are paths, and some ruins. So last weekend we went there for a hike, with husband.
We found a couple of small abandoned houses. It was like a little village, so weird! I didn’t think is was very exciting though: no interesting smells. After that we found a huge abandoned mansion, covered with trees. The jungle is slowly taking over this place. Susan and husband said it was very pretty and sad at the same time, and kept referring to ‘Cambodia’. At that point, I got really, really distracted, because I smelled something. Something… great! I got into tracking mode. Once I’m in tracking mode, there is almost no stopping me. I simply had to follow this lovely scent I picked up on! It made husband grumpy because I pulled the leash like crazy but I didn’t care and got so excited when I found the source! Unfortunately I was not allowed to get closer (stupid leash)… Can you tell what I found on Butterfly Hill?
So, what was so smelly at the butterfly hill? I should actually go there and show it to the dogs and Andy.
Haha, you are so silly Iza, look cloooooooooooserrrrr!
Fresh ‘doughnut’ of that little bastard in the woods?
