Susan always likes to take me to new places, so I can smell new scents and get used to many different situations. I’ve been to the New Territories and Hong Kong Island, but I had never been to Kowloon! So when Susan and husband drove to Tsim Sha Tsui to pick up some friends and drive them to the airport, they took me with them in the car. This was not the most exciting adventure ever, as we only had time for a very, very small walk in TST and besides: it rained! It was horribly dark and cold too!
Another day we had a more extensive trip, we went to Tai O! This is a fishing village here on Lantau. We’ve never been there and it turned out to be quit nice. I especially liked the fishy smells. There was one place where the air was so thick with fish aroma you could almost eat it! I’ve never smelled anything like it in my entire life. Susan and husband were not too happy with this spot, but I didn’t mind. Scents to me are divided in ‘interesting’ or ‘not interesting’. There is not a smell in the world that disgusts me. Although… I’m not particularly font of the perfume of my dog shampoo…
Well, we are not too fond of some of your smells too. One word: mushrooms!
