Every now and then I hear and smell that very suspicious things are going on, close to our house. Of course, I immediately try to find out what’s happening. Even if I’m on the roof, I simply must know what’s down there! If it’s late afternoon, chances are the Mui Wo cow herd is passing by.
This is always so much fun. As soon as I spot these friendly giants I run into the garden and hope they will get close so I can get a good sniff. Depending on my mood, I study them quietly or welcome them with beautiful cheers and howls, to let everybody know they’ve arrived! Strangely enough Susan does not appreciate my warnings, I must add.
Sometimes one comes to meet me and wants to smell me back! That makes me happy and also a little bit anxious. They are so big! Most of the time they are not interested in me, though…. They just wonder off again. The world is full of mysteries.
